embrace the camera

Remember the other day (well if you actually read this everyday) when I was telling you about the time my brother elbowed me in the chin?  Well Kiera is growing like a weed and her head is at just the right height to come in contact with my elbow multiple times a day.  It doesn't help that she is always standing right next to me.  Recently she walked right in front of me and I knocked her down.  She face planted on the driveway and scratched her nose.  But she likes to be close to me so I'm really not complaining that much.

(She makes a nice arm rest now)

She tells me in this angry little voice "Ow Mama you hit me in the head.  THAT HURTS!"

I guess it was eventually going to happen.

She is growing up and there is nothing we can do about it.

One day she will be big enough to share my clothes...

...and my shoes...

...and start driving...

...and graduate...

....and Ahhhh!

I'm kidding.  I try not to think about the future too much.  I mean I do every day but I am also fully aware that someone or something can be ripped from our lives in an instant.  I just hope we have many many more years together and that when it's time to go, we welcome it and know that we have lived full lives.

Enough of the deep thoughts, go...

cute picture. I'm so glad it's not just me. I'm constantly knocking someone down! Maybe that's because they are always following me around, lol

and funny how we can start to overthink and go off on a tangent from one thought, it so happens to me all the time....
yes we ought to just enjoy each day as it comes and thank God for another chance each time!

I love when my kids hit the height to run into the corner of the island in our kitchen! I have to say granite it's much worse than an elbow!! Your girl is a little doll!
