embrace the camera

So today we are participating in Embrace the Camera au naturelle.

On the weekends you can occasionally find me sitting at my computer desk early in the morning drinking my coffee unless I'm curled up on the couch watching whatever the heck I want, with my coffee, minus the husband and child still who are still asleep.  I am a morning person. 

Sometimes Kiera gets up while I am still at my desk and we share "good mornings" with each other and give big hugs and kisses.  Then she curls up in my lap with her oh so loved pink blanket.  On a side note the pink blanket is her favorite but if it is dirty she will sleep with something else for the night.  No separation anxiety here! 

She likes to cuddle for a few minutes before asking me to make her hot cocoa (milk with the tiniest bit of choc. syrup heated up in the microwave) and to watch some cartoons. 

Kiera just has to help put her cup in the microwave....and to get it out.  She opens, closes, and starts it all by herself.  Only our microwave is in a cubby cabinet thing, and the bottom of it is eye level for me.  I'm a nice and short 5'4".  I have to pick Kiera up around her legs and hold her up so she can reach.

Good thing I'm not weak.  As my brother would say "You are freakishly strong for a girl". 

Yes my big little brother....I know.
