It's A Boy - Update

Since I was going on what the outside of his wings look like and couldn't see the topside ones I gathered the completely wrong information on exactly what type of moth he is.

He is a male Antheraea polyphemus moth(referring to Polyphemus, the Cyclops of Greek mythology).  They are found in every state except Arizona and Nevada. 

He has a wingspan of 6 inches.  These moths do not eat after they emerge and will only live about 1 week.
