I mentioned before that my friend Mandy and I were surprising the girls by taking them to see Disney on Ice at the fair. They had no idea what we were going to do until we go there. The 3 shows were The Princess and the Frog, Cinderella and Tangled. The Princess and the Frog and Tangled were the best which were first and last. We sang along with all of the Tangled songs since I can't even tell you how many times we have watched it.
Mandy bought the girls little pillows since I bought all the tickets for the show.
After the show was over Jimmy met us inside and we let the girls go on some rides. Kiera even likes the little roller coasters which is awesome because Jimmy and I like those types of thrill rides too.
Mandy and Madison went their way and we went ours. Which means food! We ate jumbo corn dogs, a rib eye steak sandwich, a porkabella kabob, and a funnel cake. It also rained poured while we were there but luckily we were next to a building so we didn't get too wet. Until it let up and we decided to go to a different building and stepped in a small river and soaked our shoes, except for Kiera because I was carrying her tired little self.
Kiera kept bugging us to play on the swing set so we let her do that for about 10 minutes. We sat down and man was it hard to get up. Kiera and I had been at the fair for about 6 hours by now which was the probably the longest I have ever been there. She did great though and was never really whiny.
We then decided it was time to leave and the girl was still wired for the rest of the evening. It's crazy how much energy she has sometimes. OK not some of the time but pretty much all of the time.
Still we had a great time and Kiera was happy to be there. She had been asking for about a month when the fair was going to come and it finally happened!
